What if I’m delayed and I arrive later than my booked entry time?
Please don’t worry or feel the need to call us – these things happen. Just speak with one of our team when you arrive, and we’ll find a solution.
Is there a limit for the amount of time I can spend at the show?
There isn’t a limit to time you can spend. Our timed tickets are designed to balance our crowd numbers throughout the day, so that everyone can shop safely without worrying about being in an overcrowded marquee. This staggered approach should mean that you can spend as long as you like at the show.
Do you offer special ticket rates for concessions?
All adult ticket prices are the same. There are no concessions.
Can I bring my dog?
No, as the event predominantly takes place indoors, dogs are not allowed at the Midwinter fair.
Is there a cash machine?
Unfortunately, we do not have a cash machine available at Wealden Times Midwinter Fair. The vast majority of exhibitors take payment by card but please remember to bring some cash for the few exhibitors that don’t have card facilities or for that occasional moment when there’s a technical hiccup.
Do you charge for car parking?
Car parking at The Wealden Times Midwinter Fair is free.
What footwear should I wear?
As car parking is in a field, we suggest outdoor boots/sturdy shoes would be appropriate for this event. Or keep your wellies in the car just in case they are needed!
Can I get there by train?
Yes. The nearest stations are Paddock Wood, Yalding and Beltring. Kent Cars have a rank at Paddock Wood but it is always safer to book. Tel. 01892 548 440 for reservations.
Is there disabled access?
We do have disabled and accessibility parking close to the ticket office. Upon your arrival, please make our parkers aware and they will direct you.
If you require a carer, please bring your blue badge with you to the ticket office and they will be allocated a carer ticket. Once you have had your tickets scanned in the ticket office, a member of the team will be able to show you the step free entrance to the show ground. A carer must be over 16 years of age and capable of assisting the visitor who has the disability. The carer would be expected to understand the disabled person’s condition and assist them in managing it for the duration of their visit. The visitor with the disability and any further members of their party will pay full price.
Though the event does have disabled access, and the marquee entrances are ramped, and the flooring is wooden inside, it is located in a field and areas of the show ground can be uneven underfoot.

Can the show get cancelled due to bad weather?
The number one priority is the safety of our visitors and exhibitors, and if necessary, the event may be cancelled as a result of adverse weather. Please check our social media platforms during the event for any updates. If the show is cancelled, and unable to open, due to bad weather we will refund tickets at face value.
